Once Upon a Time

I was afraid that this show would be cheesy, but hot damn. The more I watch it, the more clever it gets. They do an incredible job weaving the separate fairy tales together into one cohesive, mature story that nonetheless jives with all the details you remember from the children's stories.

Are you just getting in to it? We used to DVR it. I really liked the first half or so of the first season, but then they lost me. It's by the creators of Lost, and started feeling a lot like that show, where the writers were having a lot of fun opening up new story lines and tying stuff together, but just didn't know how to wrap stories up.

Yeah, they just made the first two seasons available for streaming. I was the other way around--dubious for the first half-dozen episodes, but then I found I couldn't stop watching. Started maybe 2 weeks ago, and now I'm 4 episodes into season 2.

Did you get to the storyline about Belle (from Beauty & the Beast) in season 1? I think that's the one that really got me hooked.

I don't think so. That doesn't ring any Belles.

I started watching Once Upon a Time and Grimm at the same time. I thought I would drop Once, and keep watching Grimm. It was the other way 'round.

I've been a Once Upon a Time follower from the beginning. It must be the actors, because I have loved it. Although, Ginnifer Goodwin drives me crazy. I crack up every time she has to run.
