Abolish the DHS?

Yes but if the US government stops spying on the citizens, that'll just leave the Russians, and we all know what those guys are like!

DHS has many branches and not all should be abolished.

The Coast Guard is probably worth its budget, for example.

Damn right, and wildfire smoke jumpers, and FEMA, for all it's warts is needed.
