we used to get back squirrels with bright red tails at times when I was living in Toronto, not common, but not really rare either. Quite startling looking though.
 I understand there are a number of towns that are havens to large pockets of white squirrels (why am I now picturing bloody white boomer.... and singing christmas carols *gods my brain makes weird connections)
