Hmm, Lately I've been getting more into French-ish cooking, but typically my defaults are Japanese (I studied with a Japanese chef briefly) Mexican, Indian, and hippy.

I've been reading this tantalizing Persian cookbook lately.

Mexican and Indian are more comfort foods, anything with thick gravies, really.

The stuff that Lola has been posting is what I'd love to be eating like.

I bought myself a tagine and a Moroccan cookbook when I moved this summer, hoping to experiment with some couscous and lamb dishes. At the moment I go for what's quick and simple to cook - energy is at a premium at times - but I'd love to be eating like Lola, too. Wish there were a similar co-op kitchen here.

I do enjoy Japanese cooking, and I just heard about a local place that people love and that does take-out. Maybe it'll become my version of Lola's kitchen for the next while!
