It's not so much a fear as a hesitation, exacerbated by laziness.
It's on the list of things I need to do. Along with finding a job, and a doctor, and a shrink, and uh FRIENDS, and... yeah. It's less fear of that specifically and more, leaving my room is intimidating.

FTR I have very very fine hair and I have it layered to create the impression of body. But I have a lot of hair. It won't do anything of its own accord but the layers make it easier to wrangle into a semblance of life. Unless layering means something different over here.
