Interesting aside ... the person that I need to supply my address to is someone who already has it. I feel all comfortable and secure now ...
me too

you're number 18.

i think this list might reach critical mass at 20 people. that's 40 weeks of travel for each disk. almost enough time to spawn a man child.

Yeah, I thought that was kind of convenient, too. Furthermore, I will be receiving CDs from Jeep'nGeorge, who used to live here in KC. Sounds almost predestined in some way.

Syc...are you pretty sure that your lady isn't a witch?

BTW, I'm down w/Priority Mail at $3.75. I've mailed out many CD's (fulfilling online purchases of Tristan and Iseult) over the years, and it works great. Even a padded envelope does the trick. Plus, you can purchase postage online, print it out on your printer, and have the USPS site make up your Priority Mailing label. You don't even have to leave the house as long as your postal carrier will pick up the package from your house!

I vote that when we reach the halfway point of this cycle of exchanges, we each add another cd collection to the one we are sending out.

It cost just as much to send two CD's as it does to send one.

Then, when we get our own first CD back, we can replace it with a new one.
Another half cycle later we get the second CD we sent out back, and can send out another one as well.

The cycle can continue until we get sick of it.

I like that idea, too. I will be sending out 2 to begin with, because perth wants to make one, but not be part of the rotation. I figure we will see if we want to add 1 or 2 at the time this happens.

i was thinking the same thing. This is now going to take 38 weeks to complete one cycle, and the second coming that others had refered to sounded good, but too far off to take seriously. The favorite band anthology has been suggested. We should entertain other possibilities as well. Should we wait 19 weeks before we begin phase 2, or should we nudge that up a bit?

is everyone ok closing the list with 20 participants? that leaves one more sot open, and a 40 week rotation.

Before we start the 2nd CD, let's make sure the system works first...let's give it 2 months.

No need to limit the number of people involved...if we get 50, we get 50. If we stay at 19, then we stay at 19.

Case, tell James to quit being difficult.

Ep, Rho is not a Witch.

Noodle, make sure to send your address to Brigliadore. I'll send you Rho's address momentarily.
