Grief hits you however it hits you. For some it's weeping, for others it's a hollow nothingness, for some its a combination of the two and so on. There's no right or wrong way to cope with loss.
And how it hits you doesn't reflect how much you loved them. That's just how your mind copes with something which defies emotional understanding. Sorry for your loss, tracey.
