Imagine that second picture, but with the bed raised up bunkbed style and a desk/work area underneath, with less stylised bendy logs, and that's what my bro built for his eldest when she was a kiddie.

Oh, and hers still had the dark rough bark. Whole bedroom was like being in a woodland, with stars on the ceiling that glowed at night.

Their house backs onto the woods. There's often fallen tree limbs from high winds. 'Sprobably technically theft :p

Reminds me of the bamboo bunk bed I made and gave away to my friend for his twin boys.

The birch bed is nice, and so is the gnarled one.
