Recently rewatched The Omen. I definitely saw it with different eyes. Peak moments like ***SPOILER ALERT*** Gregory Peck getting hung up on the iron fence by his bicep, the journalist losing head, etc were just as wonderful and terrible as ever, some things were new to me. I didn't remember the menace of the dogs, my rewatching made me think that Leslie Ann Warren played the first nanny; nope, Holly Palance. Lee Remick is as beautiful as ever.

It was a good movie back in the day, and it's still a good movie. As scary movies go, it holds its own even for a young viewer like SonofV. We discussed the difference between being startled and being scared. This one is still scary.
