AA doesn't work for everyone.
It doesn't really work for me. I use other methods to steer clear. Some people act like meetings are akin to vaccinations - or like taking antibiotics. They say, "I'm having a tough week so I"m gonna double up on my meetings!" like that will PREVENT them from the drink. Never prevented me from drinking if i wanted to. I have left meetings and gone directly to the liquor store. that said, whatever works.
