These images are intriguing to me, in part because my mind
tries to superimpose something I already know (face, animal, etc).
And... trying to figure out how the artist managed the inks to get the effect.
I suspect there is a heat source under the "floor" to generate some of the convection currents.

I followed the link to the Behance Network, where there are links
to other (professional) artists and designers. I particularly liked the
drawings that ended up in the T.Rowe Price TV commercial.
