India are 3-0 down in a four test series, Australia are batting first and are 383/3 (i.e. we are thrashing them) and India had gone to defensive strategies half-way through the first day of what should be a five day test match. They are playing with the expectation of losing.

The last two tests (can go for up to five days, two innings each) were both over in less than three, because India did so poorly Australia didn't even need to bat their second innings.
