No necessarily. "Asian" is very broad. Japanese, Chinese, and Koreans are quite capable of mutual racism.

I agree - I was paraphrasing the articles as I was reading them.
I think the implication was that it wasn't a black/white/asian/red/gold/star/ type of racism
