She hasn't done surgery (yet). She's been trying to get by with the exercises the PT gave her but something has to give. Anybody try acupuncture?

For a different reason, but yes.
First time I relaxed so entirely in an unrelaxing setting that I fell asleep. I thought it was amazing. Next time, very relaxed but without sleep. Still amazingly positive. Third time, different place, different time, was extremely distracted by the people around me. Last time I was so incredibly stressed at other people's mouth noises (Shawnee is my twin) that I was desperate for the session to end so I could leave. Simple courtesy kept me there, so I didn't harsh their groove, but I could quite happily have stabbed them all in the throat for being so fucking disgusting. So, yeah. I'm not entirely convinced about acupuncture. For me to get wound up to that pitch, when pins were supposed to be calming me (and the effects were to last a WEEK!) kinda destroyed my faith. This was all part of detox. I walked out of the final session and got drunk. Which was my own choice of course, but it really was Objective Not Accomplished as far as the session went. Of course it might have been the practitioners, given my positive experiences were by the same people and my negatives ones were too. If ya get me. |
