Last school term, Class 1 pulled apart owl pellets because one of the class comes from a birdwatching family. I remember it specifically because he is in my class now (amazing child BTW).

But working next door, all I heard when supervising outside learning was they they had been looking at owl poo. POO!
- No, it wasn't poo
- Oh yes Mrs O, it was! Lots of poo that we put in water and bones came out!
- No, no, not poo
- Yes! Lots of poo! Poo with bones in!-
- No, pellets are different, they come out of an owl's mouth
- I know! Owls poo from their mouths! Ewwwwwwwwww!
