The identical hair styles are slightly scary.

And if each of those kids have 20 kids, and those kids each have 20 kids, and so on, in a couple of generations everyone in Arkansas will be related.

Yeah, but look at what a well-paid uterus it is:

"The Duggars, who star on TLC's "19 Kids and Counting," live debt free."

Bet the kids all turn out to be serial murders.

I don't think his wife resisted, and if she did she didn't press charges.

For what it's worth, I'm pretty sure they were debt-free before the show came along too. I don't watch the show, but I saw the original special on them about 5 years ago, when they were still living with 18 kids in a standard 3-bedroom house, before TLC built them their current big-ass house. The dad is self-employed in real estate, and I'm certain he pulls in over 100K per year, possibly 200-300K. All their clothes are from a charity store, their water bills weren't that much higher than any other family because they didn't have enough time in the day anyway, and were on a shower rotation where each kid got to shower twice a week, etc. Food costs were in the range of $3000 per month, but other than that they spent almost nothing on anything.

I wouldn't want to be part of their family, but I give them credit for their work ethic and self-discipline.

Not to mention their cheery outlook and what seems to be a relatively active sex life.
