just some random guy should be Glatt's user title.

The nearest webcams to me are an hour away.

And I'm back.

Thanks for grabbing those screen shots!

It's even weirder than you can imagine, just standing there on the sidewalk as people are walking by. If you look up at the camera, they make eye contact with you because they think you are looking at them and are about to ask them for money, but you are dressed nice, so what's your game, mister?. So I fidgeted with my phone a bit, trying to check in that way, but it wasn't cooperating.

Anyway it was fun. There is an auction house just a couple blocks from there and Mondays are exhibition day before the Tuesday auction, so it's always fun to see what stuff they are selling. There were a couple of old wax cylinder phonograph players and a box of recordings mixed in with all the other stuff this week. Neat.

In HS the big trick was to stand around in a group looking up, and watch everyone else looking up trying to see what we're seeing.

This webcam adventure was so fun. I haven't laughed that much in a while. Thanks!

it is. they're pissed about cars hitting the sign on the island on the pedestrin crossing. We have newish crossing laws here in hippyville and people are getting their birkenstocks in a twist...

Why are so many people hitting that sign?

Geometry, people, you don't even have to understand it to use it. Let me help: the shortest distance between two points is a straight line. However, if all you have is a corner, you're just going to have to go a longer distance.

It only updates every 30 seconds, so you need to sit there for a while.
