It does depend on why you're invisible.
Boffins are working on invisibility cloaks a bit like the effect in The Predator. They bend light around you. If you were under one of these and took a dump, it would be invisible until you lifted the cloak. You'd be able to see the paper if you had it inside the cloak. This reminds me of a much more real and serious question. How do blind people know when they are done wiping?
