				Kitten!

First off - I know, I KNOW! But it's too late now. Zoey gave birth this morning to two kittens - one was stillborn. She just has the one little black critter left. It's been years and years since I had kittens and I'm rusty. I'm not even sure this kitty will survive - it's so awfully small. Any advice?

Remember to feed it. That's the best I've got.

Grimalken. And get your two girls FIXED, babba! It's not fair on them to keep breeding. Although I guess that's what you meant in the first line of your post... I'd bloody love to have a newborn kitten in my house right now. Except Diz is such a monster he might try to eat it. Last edited by Sundae; 07-31-2011 at 11:11 AM. |

At this stage, let mama deal with it. Just keep an eye out to make sure she knows how to be a good mama. As long as she is cuddling it, and feeding/cleaning it, things should be fine for the first while. I would just make sure mama has enough food and water to nurse. As for names, personally I would wait, let the little one develop its personality a bit first. A name might just come to you as you watch it play. And waiting to see the sex might help in naming as well Good luck, and congrats! |

				 | *embarrassed* actually, now I have five. Most of them were accidental. Baby is still alive! Looks like a black mouse if you ask me. Momma taking very good care of.

Black kittens, black meeces, love them all. You've been blessed. Now get them fixed! Call the new cat-baby Mrs Olney. You'll be explaining it forever and I predict (looking into pretend crystal ball) that one of the conversations will lead to.... LOVE!!!! And sex. |

You shouldn't name it, then you can't eat it. Advice: shave it before preparation. Quote:
