People are such assholes!

I can't have a garden where I live, and the landlord won't do a single thing to the yard, so it gets pretty bare and barren around here. I scraped together the money to buy two large planters filled with petunias and stuff and put one on either side of my door on my front step. They looked really pretty there and brightened the place up a lot. Well, this morning I got up and let the cats out and one of my planters was missing!

What kind of low life would do something like that? Those things were not just dinky little pots of plants either. They were big and heavy. They'd have to have loaded it into a vehicle and made their escape.

I cannot afford to buy a replacement - I couldn't afford to buy them in the first places. Why are people so rotten sometimes? Happy 4th of July. Yeah.

yeah. happy 4th! i am laid out with allergies or whatever, think my body just gave out finally after working so much. so i'm laid out on the couch yesterday and the g/f decides that since i'm not talking much and she's bored that she's going to leave. i don't know about you but if it'd been the other way around and i left there would be hell to pay. then today i notice, yeah, she broke off the relationship with me. how you ask? a phone call? no. in person? ohhayullnah. yep. changed her relationship status on facebook. that's the true definition of shallow.

happy 4th!!

Sam, put out a note asking for its return. It might work -it did when someone nicked our hanging basket in the UK

Philthy, sounds like you got your Independence and soon you'll feel better and be able to celebrate it. Shame "Free, free at last" isn't an option for your facebook page

Sam we had some kids come in and vandalise the outside work area at school a month or so ago.
Smashed all the windows in the Wendy House (wooden structure as opposed to the tent usually given the same name here). Took out the paints and squeezed them all over - luckily water-soluable due to the age of our children, but still made a right mess. Nothing was broken or smashed except the Wendy House, but it was a nasty shock for us and the childer.

Some peeople just don't THINK about the consquences of their actions.
I can only wish that they reap what they sow.
Someday, that person will have something they paid good money for trashed or stolen. Someday their precious child will have something taken away for no reason other than boredom.

Filth, that's gotta hurt.
Sorry you're going through it at all, let alone dealt with in such a crass way.

Yeah. Some bastards burned the Surestart play area in my ward a couple of years ago. Utter twats.

Surestart is a project aimed at giving children in deprived areas a better start in life.
