The Nook has a field in the settings for you to name it. I called mine Nookington's.

I have succumbed to the vagaries of fashion and have acquired a Kindle Skin.

It's basically a vinyl sticker that you put on your electronic device (of assorted types, everything from Kindles to Wiis to nearly every darn phone out there).

Applying the skin is a manual dexterity challenge, but once it's on it's supposed to be good for a while.

The Kindle skins have cutouts for your buttons to poke through, and little bitty stickers for the flush buttons including the page turning buttons and the center of the 4-way controller.

Mine is called "Library." Because that's what the device is.
