Man you're making me want to get out one of these weekends and go play ball monster. Need to get my old Automag fixed up first though.. and the leak in my Cocker pump fixed. This sport just eats money but its sooo friggin fun.

I'll have to do that, thanks. I'm really hoping to make it up to this big game again this year: http://www.hellsurvivors.com/monster_game/index.php
Been three times and it is an absolute blast.

I don't play MMG, just a shoot fest, I prefer more tactical/intellectual challenges, YMMV.

I was going to post this as an RFN, Sunday am.

As long as it is in the woods I'm game, I've never been into the whole inflatable bunkers speedball thing.

That big game actually gives you opportunity to do small unit stuff too if you so choose. The field is enormous, 180 acres, with tons of areas to skirt the flanks of the bigger shooting matches and do more 4v4 style engagements in the brush.

180 acres including the camping area and car park and giant swamp in the middle.

Mostly push and shove around the pinch points ( I've played there 10 years 2 or 3 big games per year, MMG is just the biggest and most clog), some people like that, it is my new understanding of paintball that many people enjoy the shooting as much if not more than the actual play.

Great facilities though
I guess I'm jaded, a lot of people travel along way to play it

St. Louis is not really "the south". It's south of you -- but then pretty much everything is south of Ann Arbour.

...And "Arbour" was that a nod to my ethnicicicity? That's how my sister writes it when she sends stuff in the mail (and "Mitchigan")

Perhaps unconsciously. It looked right when I typed it.
