If I were thinner, prettier, richer, smarter, more confident, less sensitive...everything would be AWESOME. So if I could get rid of my lack of perfection I think everything else would fall into place. These are the things we tell ourselves, or some of us do, anyway.

I used to tell myself that often. It's much less frequent these days.
