I was walking by some store that I would never shop at -- the Bon Marche? -- and I saw that their display was information about Santa. They depicted Santa in a green cloak, and said that the Santa in the original colonies was a meld of various European versions of Santa (who wore green and walked!).
Presumably, their information predates Coca-Cola's red & white Santa advertising campaign. |
