no snow photos, but . . . record low temps. record. City has been shut down for 3 days, and half the people have no power; the other half has no water.
just filled every container in my house I could find with water; kitchen flooded; apartments say water pipes burst and water shut off at least through tomorrow. and I thought I was going to get off easy . . . I still have power and heat, although many do not. We're being asked to curtail power use and conserve water. It only snowed a little a few days ago . . . it's warmed up to 32 today . . . but the schools and govt have been closed for three days because of the piss-poor infrastructure in our town. The power plants froze, and everybody's pipes froze. on the plus side, I guess I can put off that diet I was gonna start tomorrow for another week; not a good week to exercise heavily and drink gallons of water a day . . . now what do I do?
