93% I thought it was illegal to even acknowledge the Bible existed in public schools.

Not to be a smart ass but that really is a common misconception on the right. Student led prayer is also ok and pretty common on sports teams. It is only when authority figures do it that it becomes an issue. Of course, it is still commonly done, but wouldn't stand up in court if someone pursued it.
