in the basement, just a matter of attaching the liner to the furnace exhaust tube thingy:
 here's the bit I still need to finish with steel wool and cement:  reusing this pic, but it makes sense chronologically this way... here's dan trimming it to meet the burner exhaust: he put a gash on his forearm that bled the whole rest of the time he was there:  all set to be attached....  they used stainless zip screws and metal tape to seal it up:
