I had the same thing, I think it is called pagehijacker virus I had it and had to switch to chrome. I tried rubotted, malwarebytes, avg, kaspersky, and a couple of others I don't recall. Nothing. Chrome helped. Maybe it's a nefarious plot by google to get people to switch to chrome. /tinfoil hat
