I had a friend who was the caregiver for his mother who had Alzheimer's. She was worse then a non house trained pet and went in the most unusual places. She would get up in the night when he was sleeping and go find a place to do it; bedrooms, kitchen, hall closet, staircase, even out in the car in the garage. When he would confront her with it she would deny it which is typical with dementia and Alzheimer's. Then one day it just stopped. Strange.
