Plenty of people have called Merc out for his beliefs before, it's just that many people have come to realize that there are some things he just wont change his mind about. The same could be said for many people who post on internet forums.

I don't believe he's the evil person you might think he is Red. Really...he's not.

History might demonstrate that Merc is correct...or it might not. I don't know enough about the people you're talking about to know either way, but he has a right to express his opinion, as do you.

Much of the divisiveness in this country is due, to some degree, to such hateful rhetoric.

Many people think like me. This Congress is out of control and needs to be stopped at all costs in the next election via peaceful means. And they will be stopped.
