Turns out most cases of people getting dead on New Years Eve aren't from bullets fired straight up. They're from bullets on flatter trajectories. Take your pick
1) Drunk people can't shoot straight, not even straight up 2) Holiday celebrations are a great way to cover up murder. 3) Or mischief. Someone I know has a small cannon he uses for New Years Eve. Takes 10 gauge black powder blanks. Makes a hellacious noise, fits into tradition, and doesn't hurt anyone wearing proper hearing protection :-). |
