great googly moggly has also been given a rebirth by the childrens show on nickelodeon called "maggie and the fierocous(SP?) beast"...the beast says it alot and my 3 yr old finds it terribly amusing.

      I'd say you and the women you have talked to are both partially correct. Cute is being misused a bit here. When speaking of being attracted to a woman I've noticed a few terms to describe the woman that are similar yet different: cute, hot, fuckable and attractive.
Cute: Interested but not in awe of the chick. Time to find out what her personality is like.
Hot: Looks awesome, though unless her personality matches she's usually just a trophy or eye-candy.
Fuckable: She just makes you want to fuck her, though most of the guys I know will run like hell afterwards since most of these chics are a few fries short of a happy meal.
Attractive: I think this has more to do with fashion sense and body language than anything else. Sparks an interest in finding out what her personality is really like.
      Now with terms defined, I'd say women understand attractive almost always, usually hot, sometimes cute but almost never fuckable. Maybe it's cause they do spot these chics as nutjobs as quickly as we men do and don't see the draw?

Strangely, that is a Zappa CD I actually own. Just haven't played it in many years.

The confusion comes from the fact that "Nanook Rubs It" was later combined with "Don't Eat The Yellow Snow" (first done by a radio DJ - Zappa liked it so much that he did his own mix) and then released (most recently on 1995's "Strictly Commercial", which I own). So it is indeed in "Don't Eat The Yellow Snow", but not the version on Apostrophe.
