I like weed a lot although its been months since I have had any. I agree with the idea that the underlying person dictates their ability to deal with any addictive substance. Compared to weed alcohol is just an utter waste of time. Yay weed, yay moderation.
p.s Any Syracuse smokers pm me - I could really use a hookup! |

![]() I was pretty high on weed from 1993-1997 straight. I can't recall a day that I wasn't high...either from smoking outright or taking a day off and still being high from the day before. It was crazy. I didn't care for joints but packing the bowls was great! I even did a 4 foot high hookah at a housewarming party...that was out-of-this-world! ![]() I had to back up off the smoke in June 1997, because I was about to get hired by the US Gubmint (Dept. of Defense), and I thought they would issue the drug test, but amazingly enough, it didn't happen. Ah, no matter: I was getting bored with smoking weed anyway. Plus, I was puttting on weight...munchies and all that nonsense...lol! Wasn't much of a drinker, but I have had my share of drinks. ![]()

I made one out of a six volt battery type flashlight once while on a camping trip. No papers, had ganja, and decided that we could probably see well enough in the dark if *we* got lit enough.

Monday's Philly Inquirer has an article about a showing of "yarn paintings" created by the Huichol people of Mexico, after they used Peyote for inspiration.
Much of the article is about and info from Peter T. Furst, noted expert on Shamens and their use of hallucinogenic plants. Quote Not all societies depended on hallucinogenic plants but where they found them, people built up institutions around these substances. They are seen as a source of divine inspiration. Quote Doin' what comes naturally. ![]()
