Seriously, I have a hard time with the whole christmas present thing anyway. ans especially charitable giving in the name of someone who hasn't even asked for you to support that charity.... why not at least just give them cash to donate to the true charity of their choice? Doesn't giving a charitable donation on someone's behalf say either "You don't give enough to charity so I'm doing it for you instead of putting the thought into buying a present for you" or "you give to the wrong charities so I'm picking one for you"?
