I was shooting from the hip, but that's probably it... this year I bought a load of compost and added it to the beds, very richly, and everything loved it.
Including the weeds which eventually made it too hard to maintain... Every year learn a little more... next year we will not plant anything too closely... the tomato vines choked each other too early in the whole season. |
