On "In Living Color", Carrey was extremely funny and inventive. His movies however don't do it for me. The movies take every gag to the peak, then hold it 3 minutes too long.
Monty Python has knocked my socks off many times but a few of their bits like the dept. of funny walks, well... But it doesn't matter to me because I'm a lumber jack, and I'm ok.
