the cubs are getting in back in gear with the return of ramirez.
look out for 3rd baseman fox to possibly catch for soto while he's out.
the cubs are clearly a better team than the phillies.
harden is better than blanton, so how is philadelphia the favorite.

clevland has the worst record in the american league, but don't let that decieve you as the blue jays will take their place before long.
there is no comparing these teams on any level.
clevland has a better line-up.
clevland has a better pitching staff.
with betancourt back, clevland has a better bull-pen than the jays.
how the hell is lee the underdog against cecil.

sure romero looks good out there, but we're still talking about the worst team in baseball jays.
as i said yesturday, the indians are superior on every level.

jurrjens - lincecum

two amazing pitchers in a pitcher friendly park means a low scoring game.
no matter how much i like jurrjens, he's no lincecum.
the giants are the underdogs here.

i had to give this game a lot of thought.
oswalt has looked really good out there of late.
the astros line-up without any doubt whatsoever, is superior to the cardinals.
i have to go with carpenter though as he's capable of pitching a complete game shut-out.
more than capable, it seems as though it will happen pretty soon.

kazmir looked good out there over the weekend.
i have no doubts about this guy and what he's capable of.
this team can score, they can manufacture runs, and there is no weak spot in the line-up all the way through.
they're gonna have a tough time catching up to the yankees, but the wild card spot should be pretty easy for this team.

the pirates are starting to score some runs lately, and its not come by chance as the players doing the scoring are young guys.
due to haren pitching for the very weak diamondacks, the pirates win has a very large price on it, take it.

the angels are on fire, winning 9 of their last 10.
the angels have scored 9 runs or more in 8 games this month.
weaver won't require that many runs to win this game, but he'll probably get them anyways. easy bet.

the angels just tied it up in the bottom of the 9th, but oh my......i have no intention of bringing down this baseball seasons percentage.
we're gonna make some money tonight, with 2 heavy underdog, high-paying games that are gonna happen.....

its been very profitable betting against halladay.
since late may, we've won 6 very high paying bets in where the jays lost with halladay.
there is still a green light from the blue-jays to trade halladay.
although they won't be getting much more than the 15 million they won't be paying him every year.
lets not forget, he's 32, and past his prime.
it would be a blessing if the blue-jays can get rid of him, although the fans won't see it that way.

top of the 1st, bases loaded, nobody out, american league home-run leader pena up to bat....halladay either walks in the run, or pena hits a grand slam home-run .....this scenario is still in play for this season

reality behind these two teams this season.
the rays have the team to compete for a shot at the world series for the 2nd year in a row.
the jays will most likely finish in last place overall in the american league.

22 year old bergesen looks really good out there.
most people see him as the orioles best starter.
the red-sox have lost their last 5 games in where their weak line-up has not been able to score more than 3 runs in any of them.
the price on the orioles win is way way way too high for this very predictable red-sox loss.

i like what i see from hochevar out there.
he's had some heavy tests of late, which he shined in.
the royals can win this game.

de la rosa vs sanchez

these are two of the best strike-out artists in the game.
each can get hurt, and yet, each have the ability to absolutely dominate a game if they find their grove.
i can't neglect the complete game shut-out sanchez had a couple games ago, which has public perception ranking sanchez higher.
de la rosa has looked really really good out there at times, and seems capable of dominating a line-up like the giants.

i can't see how this elite pitcher can get hurt here.
the last time tallet pitched against tampa, the rays line-up beat tallet up, scoring 8 runs in 3 innings.
i can't see how that will change much today.

i forgot to mention toronto's 7th loss in the last 10 that halladay has started in.
hopefully, that was the doc's final start for the jays.
he'll do well in the national league i'm sure.

i keep posting these games cause they're kinda funny..
whats funny about them is, in this city, they're always offering toronto as the favorite.
the rays are 8-1 vs the jays so far this season.
whats really sad about the jays is their line-up, who are batting below .200 since they were in 1st place in baseball.
since late-may,the jays are 17 games below .500 and the the rays, 18 games above .500.
the difference between these two teams is the greatest difference you'll ever see in the major leagues.
the best team in baseball vs the worst team in baseball.
