So,chatting with a colleague today, discussing the behaviour of some of our students: laziness, cheating, generally having their heads up their arses.
My fellow teacher remarked that "a lot of the Chinese students should just be lined up and shot". I had to check my watch, but yes, it was June 4th ... the 20th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre. I shouldn't laugh, but I bloody well did.
