We used to be loyal Hellman's consumers. Then one day when it was my turn to shop, there was an amazing sale on Kraft mayo because they were promoting some new rectangular shaped plastic jar that was supposedly easier to use with a knife. So I had to buy it. It was too cheap to ignore. And you know what? Neither of us could taste a difference between Kraft regular mayo and Hellman's regular mayo. Even in mayo heavy recipes, they were identical. Now we just buy whatever is cheaper that day. The rectangular Kraft jar, by the way, may be slightly better with a knife, but not worth seeking out.

If you buy flavored mayo like miracle whip, or light mayo, YMMV. But regular mayo is regular mayo.
