When you talk about a freeze flat system, does that mean you put wet items in freezer bags and then freeze them? I've done this before with single serves of soup. It's a very convenient way to store food.

Today I've made (am in the process of making) minestrone. There'll be enough for dinner tonight, then about 3 to 4 serves left over to go in the freezer.

We have two freezers too, but one is also the storage space for Dazza's bait, so I only put stuff in tupperware in that one otherwise the smell can pervade the food which is not tempting and leads to a lot of waste.
