Or semen.

If they take your DNA along with your fingerprints on arrest, and if the courts find you innocent, you should be able to expunge your DNA record like your prints.

Yeah, and would it be hard for anyone to believe a male dwellar might leave semen at the scene of a crime?

Why are Somalian pirates relevant to Big Brother?

I imagine there are the same kind of problems with semen collection. I'm not saying it can't be done, but if someone wanted to set someone else up, it wouldn't be the police doing it. Do you know how many people would have to be involved to do that?

I imagine the way they would make a DNA database is not by keeping samples of semen laying around in a vault somehwere, ya know? They probably take a swab from your mouth, and then put the results in a database. I doubt they keep any blood samples or any other kind of samples either.

Sure they keep evidence. That is how a bunch of people (200?) have been freed under that system of looking at people who have been incarcerated for a long time in the system only to be found innocent.

They keep evidence. I was actually referring to DNA collection for a DNA database. I doubt they keep that around. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

I think it is a fantastic program. They need more funding.
