Well, I don't know mrnoodle, but I happen to like noodles, so welcome back mrnoodle.

Sorry to hear about your dad. And your job. It really does suck that publishing is going down. We need newspapers and books in free societies. A society without a free press is not a free society. (and I do not believe the internet can make up for newspapers and books. It is not discriminating enough.)

Anyway... Looking forward to getting to know you. And better times.

The internet is one of the, if not THE main reason newspapers are failing. Well that and the lack of

advertising revenue. Which is it you want the newspaper WITH advertising or no newspapers? You cannot have the one without the other - somebody has to pay the bills.
