Perhaps you were thinking too big? No one would have expected you to invite them in.

You observed there were people on the cell phones and many others on hand so I think the situation was well covered. You did call 911 so give yourself a break.

I am sure if a solitary person or two needed help and you were the only one around you would just act.

You are young and probably in shock. Give yourself a break.
