OOh yes - I had one of those a couple of years running - it was wonderful. Although in my most extravagent year I wrapped in lilac voile using only purple ribbon to seal it. I thought it was stunning, but it became a bit wearing in the end - I had to wrap the kids' presents in tissue paper first because the boxes were so gaudy. Try wrapping half a dozen Barbie items in tissue paper and voile and then realise you've only done one person... not great fun. I went for a white on white theme the year after - opaque paper and ribbon and invisible tape, lovely.

I love looking at beautiful looking wrapped presents. However, I do such an awful job in wrapping them. I normally just cheat. I buy gift bags from the Dollar Store, toss the present in and stuff white tissue paper on top. Yeah, I don't even bother getting colored tissue paper to coordinate with the bag. White goes with everything, hehe. Yeah, I am lazy AND cheap. :p

I like wrapping. It's fun, part of the process, and I'm pretty good at it. Think of it as an exercise in Zen. :p

Before I met jinx, I reinvented wrapping every year. After watching her technique, and seeing her line the lettering on the paper up so that the seem was nearly undetectable, I've upped my standards.

I've upped mine....now....up yours!

I'm doing red paper with green ribbon this year.

It will look nice under my tree which is going to be decorated in red and silver.

I am so happy, when I got home from work yesterday The CEO had wrapped all my SS gifts and put them in a box with the appropriate packing material.

I have to admit, I did a poor job wrapping my gift. I did try my best, though.

But with little kids, you don't need to wrap anything nice. As long as they have something to rip open, they'll be happy.

Wrap? I thought that's what all those plastic grocery bags were for.
