*I'm* an ABC fan, partly because the local affiliate's staff politics reporters are very good and have been around for a long time. That said, I'm not sure what the rest of the crowd will demand/request as we are having an election returns party.
There will be a couple of laptops set up for monitoring alternative sources, though. We're kinda ate up with this shit right now.

Watched CNN at the bar for a bit, and now that I'm home I'm obsessively refreshing CNN.com. No cable or even broadcast on our tv anymore, so I am relying on the intarwebz.

CNN -- Best coverage, easily. That monster touch screen system is put to excellent use in the hands of those presenters.
CNN Headline News -- It's on the way to the next ones. CNBC -- The money slant. MSNBC -- The Anti-Focks. Fox News -- Sometimes a lie is more dependable than the truth. Less regularly, C-SPAN, PBS. Very little local coverage. At least not until our polls close. We've a very competitive race for governor this year. Last year it was decided by about 200 votes. Same two leading candidates. We'll see!

PBS until it got close, then switched to Faux News to watch them have to spit out the big announcement.

are Anderson Cooper and Wolf Blitzer the best CNN could do?
They all looked pretty punchy after the speech.

I only had broadcast TV channels to choose from, and I found Fox to have the best coverage.
What I wanted to see was the numbers. A key number was the % of precincts reporting and then the second most important number was the percentage of votes for each candidate. Fox news had this information at the bottom of the screen for the entire broadcast, and they left it up there for each state long enough to have a chance to digest it. The other networks either didn't have both pieces of information, or they cycled through the numbers faster than you could read them. Unfortunately, Fox had horrible and distracting graphics all over the rest of the screen, and they kept cutting abruptly from the local affiliate to the national network with no segue. So even they weren't perfect. I should have just gone online, because then I would have been able to look for the information I wanted to see. When I saw that Ohio went to Obama, I went to bed. I was pleased when I learned in the morning that my state, Virginia, went to Obama too. It's been frustrating to be in the minority here for the 19 years I've lived here. |

PBS, Comedy Central, and MSNBC (oddly enough!)

After Surfing around and finding that PBS did not start soon enough for when I wanted to watch, I flipped between CNN and Fox. Fox by far had the best graphics.
