Clods and Bri are right, Star Wars movies are for nerds, and the first one was a big disappointment.

I do not get the sci-fi worship thing. I thought the Life of Brian was awesome. I thought Rocky Horror was awesome....there are those who would argue that RH was kinda sci-fi, but that's only if you can overlook Tim Curry and nobody can do that. The whole point of this thread was that I never had to look up so many references in my life. (I mean, what the hell is "Zardoz" about?) YOU GUYS (smirk) would LOVE it. (the book---oscar wao)

I am a nerd. I'm just a specific genre of nerd. I couldn't live without my computer and wifi. In fact, I bought a miniature one so I could take it with me everywhere I go (the Eee PC, I wuv it so much). I am fond of nerdy comics like http://xkcd.com/ But I do not like Star Wars. It makes me sleepy. I do however enjoy Star TREK. I like poli-sci. Don't like sci-fi/fantasy, but do like spec fiction. Not all nerds are cast from the same mold! |
