There was an Australian report recently which said the same thing. It made waves in this country. At least it got people talking and thinking about what they were drinking.

I see people letting their children buy this FFS. We were allowed one glass of Coke on Friday and Saturday nights - with a packet of crisps. That was our "supper" and it was a weekend treat. Yes I know it's not the 70s now, and people have a higher disposable income... Maybe the so-called credit crunch (which won't bite for a while and is at present mostly a media fad) will bring people back to some of the practices of my childhood. As a nation we were healthier then after all.
