Jenn, there isn't much I can tell you about the abuse on Jersey that you can't find by Googling. Here's a precis from The Guardian. It's very much in the news over here because of course it's shocking. But the abuse happened 20+ years ago (some of it apparently dating back to the 50s) so I'm not sure if everyone involved will ever be brought to justice, so it's a very different kettle of fish.

Are you connected with the defendants in any way or is it just something you have become interested in? I went to see the play The Exonerated a while back it it really moved me. I forget that just because I don't know anyone who has been convicted, it doesn't mean it doesn't happen to innocent people. It's not them and us.

You took the words right out of my mouth I am in college I am taking abnormal criminal and forensic psycology hopefully on my way to working in behavioral science I loved what you said about not knowing or being any relation to the accused I am devoted to this field and i stumbled upon the wm3 story while doing independant research I am looking into volunteering for necrosearch and the innocense project in maryland D.C. and virginia as well as arkansas I actually went to West Memphis arkansas a little over 7 yrs ago to track down anyone i could find from the original investigation i "borrowed" some film students from webster university in st.louis i went to college there and lived there for 6 yrs or so I now live in maryland 5 minutes from Washington D.C. and virginia i took those students to west memphis we filmes a documentary about that case I have a support group here for other wm3 supporters That case hits me very hard I guess because those kids remind me of myself and my old bestfriends from highschool and now my little brother It is a modern day witch hunt I will not give up on this case i will see it through until the end Well anyways i appreciate your opinion
