There is no doubt that Austria is outclassed by Croatia here.
Austria is playing at home though, and Croatia is overated.
Taking out England wasn't as big of an achievment as it looked.
Austia's win pays a fortune here.

This game should determine first place in the division.
I'm not sure if the favorite Germans will be able to beat this strong Polish team.

Poor Romania, they drew into this group of death with 3 of the best teams in the world.
Things may seem grim for them, but I can't imagine them finishing with 0 points.
France is the most likely to give up a draw to the men from the Carpathian mountains.
It also pays a fortune.

Italy - Holland

IMO, these are the two best teams in the competition.
If they do manage to take out France, they won't have to meet each other again until the final.

Lee is becoming more realistic as his ERA has risen to 2.45.
He remains 9-1, and despite facing a really tough task against this line-up, he should do better than Willis.
It pays well.

Litsch - Washburn

Do not underestimate the Mariners.
They are by far, a greater team than the Blue Jays, and their record will show it at the end of the year.
Washburn is better than his numbers and Litsch worse.
Where I am, this game pays a fortune!

Sweden - Greece

This is easily the best bet of the week!
Greece is not worthy of participating in this cup.
The Swedes are in form, given the fact that this is the normal time for them to be in form as their local competition is a summer occasion where as the rest of the world rests at this time.
The two teams are leagues apart.

Holland 3 - 0 Italy Great freaking game. Holland just attacked and attacked and then attacked some more. Italy couldn't handle the pace or the pressure. The names in the italian side may be some of the greats, but there are a lot of miles on those legs and they just aren't keeping up.

Holland is a great team.
You can't count out Italy at this time, as they will not have to face this great Dutch team again until the final.
Sweden may be tough on the Italians, should they have to face them in the next round, but beyond that, there's not too many teams in this Euro that can beat the world cup Champions.

Sweden beat Greece 2-0, as we cash in huge on our best bet of the week.
Combining it with the suprise tie Romania got from France, and our baseball games:Indians over Tigers and Mariners over the Blue Jays.
We've still got the Angels-Rays under tonight as Weaver faces Shields.

I don't really like any games in the Euro for the next couple days, although I can't imagine the Czech's loosing to Portugal tommorow.

The Czech's weren't even in the game. Portugal had issues with the defense first style the Czech's used for a little while, but then they opened them up and just kept attacking through the end. Fun game to watch even if that little puke Ronaldo is out there.
