Only assuming that because you're having problems. I'm not really computer literate, just more than most of my friends. Anytime one of them has a problem with email, I find it's usually OE that is at fault. Di'n't mean no offense.

Did you ever get this working, Drax?

IIRC this is a registry thing in windows. Somewhere in your Thunderbird options there will be an entry like "Make Thunderbird your default mail program". I think if you make sure that is checked and click ok, it should make the appropriate registry entries.
